Meet Our Waxahachie Dental Team

Angie, Projects Assistant

Angie, Human Resources Manager/Trainer

I am proud to say that I have been with this local and family-owned dental practice since 2007. I have come to know so many of you in the community as patients and friends. I managed the practice for 9 years. My role in the office has changed, as I am currently on the human resources, marketing, training, and specialty services side of dentistry. I look forward to continuing to help Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP® serve you the best way possible.
In dentistry, my interest lies in overall patient care and how to facilitate it. I am very involved in the dental environment and how it relates to our patients, our community, and our planet. At Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP®, we pride ourselves on being responsible in all of those areas. I am a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers, the National Association of Professional Women. I am also a Registered Dental Assistant and have enjoyed working in this field nationally, as well as, internationally since 1998.

Outside of the office I enjoy volunteering in my community, theater, gardening, kayaking, camping and hiking. Aside from these, I also love traveling and spending time with my family. I have a daughter attending the University of North Texas, and my son is in the Air Force, I have five grandchildren. I feel honored to serve you every day. Thank you for choosing us to take care of your dental needs.

I am Laurie and I have been working for Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP ® since 2018. I started working in the dental field as an assistant and have always enjoyed helping patients feel comfortable. I am the Patient Care Coordinator here and I am the first team member you will see in our office.
I love working here and helping you get settled in and ready for your dental appointment. Whether it’s your first visit, your routine cleaning or for treatment, I want to make it as easy as possible. I find it a true pleasure seeing you and getting to know you and your families, it is one of the best parts of my job.

My husband and I have three grown sons and three precious grandchildren that we enjoy spending time with. The one thing I value the most is my faith in Jesus.

I am dedicated to our patients and want to make them feel at ease and ensure a positive dental experience. I love the long-time relationships I’ve developed along the way with our patients. I look forward to meeting you and know you will love our team; they are amazing and like family.

In my free time, I love being a grandma (Lolli) to my three precious grandchildren. Fun fact about me, I am an identical twin and love seeing her and my other sisters anytime that I can.

Cristina, Dental Assistant, RDA

Cristina, Dental Assistant, RDA

I am Cristina, I am one of several Registered Dental Assistants you will see in our practice. I started my profession in 2008 and I still love every aspect of it. There are so many treatment options in dentistry today, which means we must have high levels of knowledge in many areas. I think this keeps it all very exciting.

I have had some specific and specialized training in the area of Orthodontics. I want everyone to realize that anyone can have a beautiful smile. We can help you achieve the smile you have always wanted with Invisalign. This technology is fast and amazing. We can straighten and align your teeth and even bring your bite into proper alignment. Please ask me how; I would be more than happy to tell you more about it. One of the best parts of my job is helping a patient lose their fear of the dentist, as a dental assistant, that is one of the best feelings you can have.
Out of the office, my husband and I have four kids. Our large household keeps me very busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My hobbies are gardening, and I really love watching my kids play softball. We have also enjoyed being a part of the FFA. Finding quiet time can be a challenge, but when I get it I love reading a good book. I grew up in the San Antonio area and have lived in Ennis for 25 years.

You will find us spending most of our time outdoors, at the baseball fields at the lake with our kayaks, and fishing. We also love tending to the garden. We attend church here in Waxahachie, to keep our faith ever growing. I have a very supportive husband to help me with our growing/active boys and I couldn’t do it without his help and support.
