Meet Our Waxahachie Dental Team

Angie, Human Resources Manager/Trainer, RDA

I am proud to say that I have been with this local family-owned dental practice since 2007. I have come to know so many of you in the community as patients and friends. I managed the practice for 9 years. My role in the office has changed, as I am currently on the human resources, marketing, training, and specialty services side of dentistry. I look forward to continuing to help Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP® serve you the best way possible. In dentistry, my interest lies in overall patient care and how to facilitate it. I am very involved in the dental environment and how it relates to our patients, our community, and our planet. At Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP®, we pride ourselves on being responsible in all those areas. I am also a Registered Dental Assistant and have enjoyed working in this field nationally, as well as internationally since 1998. I am amazed when I think about how much dentistry has evolved since I first started, and I love that I have evolved with it. It has been a career that has pushed me towards new technology and professional growth, and I must say Dr. Clinton has had a hand in that. I am proud to be with a dentist/owner who has built his career on growing a well-loved private practice in our county and I am so happy to have been a part of that process.

Outside of the office I enjoy volunteering in my community, theater, gardening, kayaking, camping, and hiking. Aside from these, I also love traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I have two adult children, and five grandchildren. I feel honored to serve you every day. Thank you for choosing us to take care of your dental needs.

Vanesa, Hygiene Coordinator/Dental Assistant, RDA

Hola, my name is Vanesa. My fascination with smiles is what motivated me to pursue a career in the field of dentistry, and it brings me great joy to spend my days interacting with patients and helping improve their dental health. I speak English and Spanish and enjoy getting to know patients on a personal level in both languages.
I am a proud “born and raised” Arkansan. I am married to my high-school sweetheart, Edgar and have a beautiful daughter. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, shopping, and traveling the world. I have been a registered dental assistant in Arkansas and Texas since 2019 and have been with Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP ® since 2020.

Brandy, Treatment and Finance Coordinator

I am blessed to say that I joined Waxahachie Family Dentistry in 2022. I began my dental career in 1998 as a Registered Dental Assistant. One of the things I love about my career is the growth I have experienced by getting to work in many different roles over the years. At Waxahachie Family Dentistry I am a Treatment/Finance Coordinator. It is my pleasure to help you see the value of dental care and your treatment needs as well as help you understand your insurance benefits and the finance options available to you. If you have met me, you know I have a passion for what I do. I am truly happy to be on this dental team.

Outside of work I am a mother to four children, this keeps me busy, and I couldn’t do it without my husband TJ. I enjoy fishing, camping, sports & crafts, being a dance mom and spending time with my family. I look forward to meeting you soon!

Sarah, Insurance Coordinator

I am Sarah, I started in the dental field as a Dental Assistant in 2013, and from there I furthered my career as a Certified Phlebotomist and Medical Assistant. I spent many years working in a pulmonary office, but some part of me always wanted to come back to dentistry. In 2023 I came to Waxahachie Family Dentistry as a patient, and it was the best experience I had ever had in a dental office. Not long after that I joined the team here at WFD and it was the best decision I could have made.

My role here is insurance and finance coordinating. I am always here to help you with any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me if you need anything because I truly love helping our patients.

I have been in Ellis County most of my life. I grew up riding horses and being outside as much as possible. I am a mom to an amazing boy, his dad and I strive to let him be his best self, whether it is basketball, baseball, fishing, riding four wheelers or golf. We love to do it all!

Marisa, Treatment Coordinator

Hello, I am Marisa, I am a Treatment Coordinator here at Waxahachie Family Dentistry. I started with WFD in 2023 and have been in the dental field since 2011. I absolutely LOVE dentistry. One of my favorite things about this health care field is seeing people leave our office with a smile on their face. Having the ability to change people’s lives is a rewarding part of my job. Smiles are one of the first things people notice so being in a field where I am a part of that change makes me happy!

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 children and our Goldendoodle (Kobe). In our family we do sports, so we often find ourselves traveling from game to game and practice to practice. Going to sports events is year-round in our house. Cooking with my kids and trying new recipes is something I love to do. I am “kind of famous” with my teammates at WFD for my Ceviche recipe. In my “spare time” ; ) I love reading romance and thriller novels, those are my favorite!

Haley, Treatment Coordinator

Hello! My name is Haley, I was given the opportunity to join the WFD family in May of 2024. Since beginning my career in 2017, I have had the privilege of being trained in many different roles in a dental practice setting.  At Waxahachie Family Dentistry you may see me verifying your dental insurance, going over your treatment plan and financial options, as well as getting you scheduled for all your dental care. I will likely be the last person you engage with as you finish up your appointment, my goal is your smile (satisfaction).

I am passionate about helping people feel healthy and confident. I love helping you understand the importance of maintaining your health and the importance of good oral hygiene. I have grown so much in my time here at Waxahachie Family Dentistry. I can’t wait to share my enthusiasm for dentistry with you and I truly look forward to getting to know you.

Outside of dentistry, you can find me spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy the outdoors, cooking, traveling and watching Texas Longhorn football with my family. I have been married for 4 years, and I have 2 beautiful daughters.  I commit to tackling all situations with the best attitude and I try to bring good, positive energy to my surroundings.

I can’t wait to see you smile!

Kaci, RDA/Business Assistant

Hello, my name is Kaci. I have been with WFD since February of 2023. I have many different roles in the office from VA Care, Dental Assisting, and many of you have probably seen me sitting at the front desk welcoming you into our office!

I’ve known ever since I was a little girl that I had a passion for people and for making people smile. I get such satisfaction when I see patients walking out of our office with a healthy beautiful smile.  Knowing we all worked together to help achieve that makes me happy. I have found dentistry and helping patients so rewarding.

I graduated high school in 2022 and already knew I wanted to go to school to become a Licensed Dental Assistant. I started training immediately and got my license in October of 2022 and I wouldn’t change a thing. I am glad I knew early on what I wanted my career path to be. On top of loving the profession I chose; I have also found that the close family dynamic that this practice offers is something that you don’t find everywhere, and I will cherish it forever.

Outside of the office, I enjoy going on walks and hanging out with my family and friends. I am engaged to my high school sweetheart, Braxton. We raise two sweet puppies together named Murphy and Oakley. I look forward to meeting you!

Lee Ann, Lead Dental Assistant, RDA

I grew up in Waxahachie and have been dental assisting since 1998. I have been Dr. Clinton’s right hand since 2000, at this point I guess you could say we read each other’s minds. We truly are committed to excellence, and I am forever grateful to be a part of this practice and its history. I specialize in general dentistry with an emphasis on implants and oral surgery. I enjoy the fact that in a General Dentistry practice you must know about everything and that none of our days are exactly the same. I enjoy that aspect of it and maybe that is why I have enjoyed it for so long. I strive to help patients feel calm & comfortable and to know that they are in good hands while in our dental chair. I have developed so many meaningful relationships with our patients over the years, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. When I chose dental assisting so many years ago, I never had any idea how much I would come to love it or the impact it would have on me.

In my spare time I love spending time with my 3 precious grandchildren and traveling with my family and friends. Beach trips are my absolute favorite.

Brittnee, Dental Assistant, RDA

Hi, my name is Brittnee! I am a native Waxahachie Indian. I graduated from Dental Assistant school earning my RDA in 2016 and I joined this wonderful team in 2021. I set out each day to make my purpose helping others and at Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP ® I am able to do that in many ways.

Outside of the office, I am a mother of two. I enjoy the outdoors, music, dancing, and spending time with my family and in my church! I believe a smile is contagious, and that is something I want to share with all of my patients!

I realize that I am blessed to be a part of a team that cares so much for the people that walk through these halls. Whether it’s our patients, our staff, or our doctors, you will see kindness everywhere you look!

My favorite quote, “A true selfless act always sparks another.” Here at WFD we strive to be selfless and make a difference in our community and in the lives we touch! I hope you can feel that difference while you are here and under our care.

Mariah, Dental Assistant, RDA

My name is Mariah, I am a Registered Dental Assistant, I have been a Licensed RDA since 2020 and became a team member here at WFD in Dec 2024. I enjoy what I do. The best part for me is helping our patients regain their confidence through their smile. I do my best to create a warm and friendly environment so that each patient feels comfortable and valued during their visit.

Away from work I enjoy going to Pilates, hanging out with friends and family and watching and supporting my Fiancé as he performs in several bands. My favorite part of dentistry is helping people smile again and gain their confidence back.

I truly believe that a beautiful smile can change lives, and I feel proud to be a part of that journey!
