Scott G. Clinton, DDS, MAGD General Dentistry

Dr. Clinton was a 1993 graduate of Texas A & M University with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He was a 1997 graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. He later went on to attend a General Practice Residency at University Hospital and Audie Murphy VA Hospital in San Antonio. He served as Chief Resident of the program in 1998. Following residency, Dr. Clinton served as assistant director of the dental residency program at University of Nevada School of Medicine in Las Vegas. Dr. Clinton has been in private practice in Waxahachie since June 2000. He has been married to his wife, Ginger, since 1993. He has two sons. He spends his free time traveling, loves golf and is an member of The Oaks Fellowship. Dr. Clinton is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of the American Dental Association. Dr. Clinton is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and an active member in Spear Faculty Club.


Ami Mata, DDS

Dr. Mata is a born and raised local of Dallas, Texas who received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M College of Dentistry in 2021. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Science with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Texas in 2015. She also completed a rigorous yearlong Post-Baccalaureate program before admissions into dental school in 2016 at the University of Texas at Dallas. She attended the Highschool of Health Professions at Townview Magnet Center and graduated with her diploma as well as with all credentials of a Registered Dental Assistant. Using her RDA, she started working as a dental assistant right out of high school and worked throughout her undergraduate studies in various dental offices before being admitted into her dental class in 2017.

Dr. Mata is a current member of the American Dental Association as well as a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Mata resides in Waxahachie, TX. In her free time, outside of dentistry, she enjoys gardening, the outdoors and hiking with her husband, Daniel, and Labrador Retriever, Maverick. Any vacation consists of at least a day of exploring new hiking trails!

Rachel Todd, DDS

Rachel Todd, DDS, a North Texas native, knew she wanted to be a dentist from a very young age. After graduating from Mansfield High School, she attended Texas Christian University where she earned her degree in Biology and was a member of the Horned Frog Marching Band. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2016. She has practiced at Waxahachie Family Dentistry, LLP ® since 2017. Dr. Todd currently lives in Mansfield with her husband Blake, son Leo, and their cat Cookie. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, and staying active with strength training. Dr. Todd is proud to be a life-long learner, and through continuing education, has expanded her dental services to include orthodontics. She is passionate about dentistry and its special role in the overall health and well-being of her patients. She can’t wait to get to know you and take care of you and your smile!

At our Waxahachie dental office, we want you to enjoy your trips to the dentist which is why we offer several ways to keep you comfortable. If you suffer from dental anxiety or a low pain tolerance, our sedation techniques will keep you relaxed and pain-free while we restore your oral health. 

We offer conscious sedation techniques such as IV sedation, oral sedation, and nitrous oxide to provide the utmost comfort to patients undergoing the slightest anxiety.
