My husband and I moved to Texas in 1997 from Pueblo, CO and we currently live in Cedar Hill. We love going on road-trips throughout the beautiful State of Texas and especially enjoy visiting all the historical landmarks. Our road trips have been even
more fun and eventful since we added our two beautiful daughters and handsome little boy….and I can’t forget our sweet dog, Mollie. They keep us very busy! We are also very active in our church and love helping in children’s ministry.
I became a dental assistant in 1996 and shortly after moving to Texas I became certified in Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Radiation, as well as becoming a Registered Dental Assistant with the State of Texas. I worked for Dr. Haney for several
years while my husband went to SAGU. I was so blessed to be able to join Waxahachie Family Dentistry in 2012. We have the best doctors and staff, and of course the best patients! I have always enjoyed the dental field and have a special
interest in nutrition. I recently took a course on how vitamins affect our oral health, and I truly believe the old saying, “You are what you eat!” I enjoy being part of a great team at Waxahachie Family Dentistry that can help guide patients
back to better oral health and wellness.
Hello – my name is Cristina. I am a registered dental assistant. I started my profession in 2008 and I still love every aspect of it. I have had some specific and specialized training in the area of Orthodontics. I want everyone to realize that anyone
can have a beautiful smile. We can help you achieve the smile you have always wanted with Invisalign. This technology is fast and amazing. We can straighten and align your teeth and even bring your bite into proper alignment. Please ask
me how; I would be more than happy to tell you more about it. One of the best parts of my job is helping a patient lose their fear of the dentist, as a dental assistant that is one of the best feelings you can have. Out of the office, my
husband and five kids keep me very busy but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My hobbies are gardening, and I really love watching my kids play soccer. Finding quiet time can be a challenge but when I get it, I love reading a good book.
I have lived in Ennis for 25 years but grew up in the San Antonio area.
My name is Brenda. I am a dental assistant at Waxahachie Family Dentistry. I got my start in this industry in 2012. I feel very fortunate that I am a part of the WFD dental team. The entire team of doctors and staff are great at what they do and that
is why I get so much pleasure being in this office. My favorite area in this field is the area of oral surgery; I am also specially certified by the state of Texas to do coronal polishing. I love learning all I can and in this practice, there
is always something new and fun to learn be it technology, software or new techniques or services. I will always strive to meet your needs and look forward to meeting. Waxahachie is home! I grew up in this area. I am married and have two
children. I have a boy and a girl so I get to experience the best of both. I LOVE spending time with my family, I enjoy walking, watching documentaries and listening to music in free time.
Hello, my name is Beki and I am a registered dental assistant. In 2012, I made the decision to leave my career as a Pre-school teacher to enter the dental field. My experience working with young children helps me to understand how to meet the needs of
our young and sometimes anxious patients. I have a passion for what I do, and feel extremely blessed to be a part of the WFD family. I am married and have 2 amazing kids. In my off time, I enjoy spending time outdoors swimming, boating and
fishing. I also enjoy taking courses to make me a more efficient dental assistant.
Rebecca, RDH and Team Lead
I currently reside in Midlothian and absolutely love it. The outdoors, baseball, and traveling takes up the majority of my time outside of work. My beautiful son keeps my full attention, one couldn’t ask for a more perfect gift. I received my biology
degree from Blinn College in 2005; therefore I am an Aggie fan. I received my dental hygiene degree from Coastal Bend College in 2008. I have also done research at North Carolina University in the Entomology department. I have been working
as a Dental Hygienist since 2008. This career path that I have chosen is what I have always wanted to do. I absolutely love it. Great staff and wonderful patients, I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Hi – my name is Cyndi. I have a degree in Biology from TWU, and I became a dental hygienist in 1980. I continue to have a passion for dentistry and caring for my patients’ dental health is still my top priority! Helping you understand the importance of
your oral health and how it relates to your whole-body wellness is what I do for our patients every day. I want my patients to understand why coming to the dentist isn’t just a cleaning. Helping you manage your oral health whether you are
in for a routine visit or for something more serious such as Periodontal Disease is my passion. I will help you understand why your dental visits are so important. Midlothian has been home since 1997. My son and daughter are grown now and
out of college but because of them, I have become an avid college football fan (LSU-GEAUX TIGERS!). When not watching football on the weekends, I enjoy my pets (two miniature schnauzers and a cat), scrapbooking, crafts, reading, cooking,
shopping and traveling. I attend church at First Baptist in Midlothian and enjoy volunteering when I can. I look forward to meeting you!
Hi, my name is Shanah and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist for15 years. I started my academic journey into Dentistry in 1998 and graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C, in 2002. I joined Waxahachie Family Dentistry in January of 2017, but first became part of the dental team in 2008 as a PRN Dental Hygienist. I am dedicated to providing gentle, yet thorough treatment to promote dental health as it correlates to total body health. I have two children and we reside in Grand Prairie, Tx, I am originally from Texarkana, Texas. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, watching movies, cooking, and watching my son play basketball for the Boys and Girls Club. I also enjoy providing education and support to new moms as a Lactation Counselor and Consultant. I look forward to meeting you and providing optimal dental care.
I joined WFD in 2014. I love many aspects of this practice. I think I would have to say that I have really enjoyed the emphasis they put on training their team. I am so glad to be a part of this professional group. I grew up in Midlothian but these days
you never know where you will find me. I am either at my home in Justin or at my ranch in Jacksonville. I did my pre-nursing at the U.T., Austin and graduated from Dental Hygiene school from Tyler Jr. College. Debbie and her husband Tim
have 5 children and 3 grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys raising Brangus cattle, loves organic gardening, riding horses and traveling.
Hello, my name is Mellissa, I graduated from Dental Hygiene School from Tarrant County College in 2010. Since then, I have met and married my wonderful husband and we have 2 beautiful children! We moved to the Waxahachie area summer of 2016 and have been
so pleased with our decision. I have been given an awesome opportunity to work with a family of like-minded people. With this team of professionals, I always feel that I can share my passion of caring for people’s needs/desires with their
dental care. When not working, I love being a mom! Watching them grow is an amazing gift from God, one that I truly cherish. I guess that is why I love times spent as a family whether it’s camping, shopping, eating or just being at home
snuggled up. I’ll admit I have heard many people over the years tell me they would rather be somewhere else other than the dental office. My goal would be to help you feel comfortable with where you are, so that I can help you achieve your
oral health goals. I hope since meeting me and becoming a part of our dental family you have changed your mind and this is now a place you know you can relax and refresh. Just knowing you are doing something good for yourself should make
you feel great about your visit with us. Since I have been a part of this team I have learned that at Waxahachie Family Dentistry, we as a whole, want what is the best for each individual person we meet. I look forward to seeing you.
